If you watched Hitchcock's movies, you might be looking at birds differently. And if you studied birds, you might know that seagulls are not the nicest birds around. So it should come as no surprise that they feed on whales.
There isn’t much to be said except that in nature, it sometimes happens that the prey becomes the predator.
Birds really do have the potential to attack and be vicious, as the following videos will demonstrate:
